2004 Jeep Grand Cheroke Built ! ! ! Custom / Lifted / Overlanding / Long arm
Up for sale is my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ.
It has a 4.0 inline 6 engine (rebuilt by the previous owner), automatic transmission and np242 selectable transfer case. Axles are Dana 30 and Dana 44a.
Front axle (Dana 30) has a limited-slip differential, new axle shafts with lifetime warranty, new Spicer ball joints, new Timken wheel hubs, new axle seals, new Yukon differential cover, heavy-duty upper control arm bracket, new upper control arm polyurethane bushings, new drilled and slotted rotors, new brake pads, and new coated calipers.
Rear axle (Dana 44a) has an Aussie differential locker, Chassis Unlimited steel differential cover powder coated black, new drilled and slotted rotors, new brake pads, and new coated calipers. Lubelocker gasket.
The suspension was custom made by Goliath Off Road. It’s radius arm long arms on the front and triangulated 4-link long arms on the back. The suspension is based on Clayton Off Road brackets and tabs. The suspension is completely adjustable, with Johnny Joints. A flat belly 1/4″ skid plate was installed to Clayton’s unibody stiffeners.
A fully adjustable, 1-ton steering from Goliath Off-Road was installed as well as a heavy-duty track bar, along with a new steering stabilizer.
Springs are 6″ dual-rate from Clayton Off-Road paired with Bilstein 5100 shocks in all four corners.
New Clayton Off Road steel braided brake lines front and rear.
All new bushings, coil spring insulators and RC sway bar quick disconnects were installed. All suspension and steering parts were powder coated, and the jeep is sitting on a fresh set of 33″ BF Goodrich A/T KO2 tires (5).
The exterior is in very rare color offered only in 2004 (Deep Lava Red Metallic). The lower portion of the jeep, hood, and grill was Raptor lined.
Goliath Off-Road front bumper, rear bumper with tire carrier with two Rotopax brackets, rock sliders, and roof rack were powder coated black and installed. On top of the bumper, there is a 9500 Smittybilt winch with a synthetic line, Warn fairlead and Warn Epic hook. The jeep comes with a new ARB 2500 awning and Smittybilt rooftop tent (only for the full asking price) . The jeep has all new headlights and LED taillights, along with a Rigid Radiance 10″ light bar and two Rigid Ignite cube lights on the roof rack.
