“Built” Jeep TJ. NO rust California vehicle. It lived in California until 2022, then in Virginia unitil I bought it in August of 2023. It of course has some very mild mild surface rust on various places on the frame/suspension, but no real rust.

Has an Ford 8.8 rear swapped in, with 5.13:1 gears and a Trac Loc. Front has a swapped in High Pinion 30 with 5.13:1 gears and a “lunch box” type of locker. Both sets of gears seem to be newer. Also has a 4″ lift with all adjustable control arms, and longer than stock Bilstien Shocks. Of course has a SYE(slip yoke eliminator) which is the JB conversions “shorty” type which allows a longer driveshaft. The driveshaft is the SYE type with a double carden joint at the transfer case. Also has a high quality hinge open rear bumper with spare tire carrier, a Motobilt front shorty winch bumper, and a Smittybilt 10,000lb winch. Has RuffStuff 1 ton steering conversion kit. Has a HealTech “SpeedoHealer” which electronically corrects the speedometer. Has a Rugged Ridge dual battery setup up with 2 Optima Batteries. Runs really well, drives like a lifted Jeep, would probably drive better with new tires.

I’ve only owned it for a couple months, and I did replace a tie rod end, drag link, a couple u-joints, new radiator, new gear lube in both differentials, and the transfer case. New primary red top Optima battery. The second one appears to be kinda of weak, but it only operates the winch, and the primary one does too. The soft top is Rough Country brand, and is new, I just installed it. I will include the old black top also, it’s in OK condition, but both front window zippers have issues. Black rough country seat covers area also included. The aftermarket rear seat is in terrible condition and the cover for it is only for the bottom. Tires are about 1/4-1/3? tread. I love this thing, but I already have a “built” vehicle, I really don’t need two.

Cons: Driver’s seat shows some wear. I believe the blower moter needs to be replaced. I replaced the HVAC control, and the AC compressor does engage, but the blower doesn’t work. It’s behind the dual battery setup, and I’ll let the next owner deal with that. Has a bunch of lights/lights underneath. One switch is broken, and one circuit seems to drain the battery, so I unhooked most of them, but all the circuitry/solenoids are still there. They’re actually decently installed, but need a little TLC. The driveshaft is custom made, and does not appear to be balanced. It vibrates. would need to be balanced or replaced. Almost wants to death wobble some

(but not really, more of a shimmy sometimes), but I blame that on the worn tires and complete lack of any steering stabilizer. Has quite a few trail scrapes/dents, especially toward the bottom, but again… rust free. The exhaust is a little too loud for my taste, and it rattles against the skid plate. The modifications add up to over $10,000 easy, not counting labor. Take it ‘wheelin’ today, and do most of the hardest trails!

Clean NC title in my name, and clean, no accident history. I do have a recent copy of the clean CarFax. Whatever payment is fine, but I must be able to confirm the funds before/during the transaction. Feel free to ask any questions.
