For Sale: 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition
Original Inline 6 cylinder engine, Original 5 speed manual transmission & rebuilt transfer
case with SYE kit. In the rear a trussed Ford 8.8 rear axle with disk brakes paired with a
Dana 30 high pinion axle trussed, sleeved, gusseted with 27 spline RCVS. Axles are geared
4.88 with Ox Lockers, mated to a Rock Krawler 5.5” Long Arm suspension. Rides on 4
Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT 37×12.5 tires mounted to battleborn steel 32 bolt
beeadlock wheels.
10 years of work & maintenance has been lovingly worked into this off-road & on-road
machine. If something broke, it was upgraded. This jeep is perfectly suited to turn heads
while cruising the streets & rural roads or go to the extreme rock crawling trails in moab
than back home. This vehicle is not a lawn ornament or a car show piece. It is scratched,
dented and built to be driven and enjoyed. It has more after market parts and oem
replacement parts than original parts. All sensors have been replaced within 5 years.
Major Repairs:
2025 New Centerforce Clutch kit & high Inertia Fly wheel, new hydraulic clutch master &
slave cylinders replaced.
2024 the Inline 6 cyclinder received a new Head, head gasket, and air intake manifold
(oem)
2022 replaced front axle with 1999 XJ Dana 30 HP trussed, sleeved, gusseted. 4.88 gears
2019 5.5” loang arm Rock Crawler suspension installed & 1.25” body lift
2019 frame replacement and body restoration. New floor pans and body mounts.
2018 rear axle replaced with 1998 ford explorer 8.8 trussed axle.
