1997 Jeep Wrangler Sahara MONSTER ROCK CRAWLING JEEP WRANGLER
I purchased this vehicle in 2002 and began what turned out to be many modifications that resulted in what you see today. I have received many accolades on both the trails and around town. As a 30-year wheeling veteran I can and have compared the vehicles (jeeps) listed on E-bay and other online sources and cannot find the quality build and capability that my vehicle has especially at this price point. The ‘Auto Check” score confirms my comment. This jeep is in the strictest sense a rock crawling vehicle driven on some of the most challenging runs. My jeep has proven it’s worth on some of the most difficult and challenging trails in the country as seen by the main photo that was taken on the ‘Z Crack Moab Rim Trial’.
If you are familiar with the 4.0 motor you must know that at 156,000 miles, it is good for many more miles of fun and adventure, which is typically over 250,000 miles. Take a good look and compare for yourself.
The balance of components have a given time frame and are relatively new, i.e. the transfer case, axles, diffs, suspension, shocks, AirRock suspension airbags, etc. I am a conservative driver and never beat-up on my jeep. I keep it garaged, clean and run the engine often. I do not have to sell, but at 80 I have decided to pursue a new direction.
