Selling my 1995 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L with 101k miles. I’ve had it for about 10 years or so and it’s been great. Family is growing so it’s time to move on. Originally the Jeep was a coral color so I had it professionally painted black shortly after I got it. Paint still looks great. Could use a little touch up here and there.
Last year of the YJ was the best year, this one runs fantastic. 4.0L is the best motor Jeep ever made. Had the oil changed recently as well. It’s currently got 32” tires on it with only a shackle lift. You could easily go back to a stock tire size for more clearance or add a suspension lift to go off road and have some fun. I never took it off road.
I did have LINE-X professionally blasted down in the complete interior including the tail gate. Best decision ever. Protects from rust, easy to clean, and gets wet without concern. Perfect for the beach or going to the lake, pool, etc.
I’m a music guy so I gotta have my tunes. I removed the back seat, (which is long gone), and installed a Sony X-Plode 2×12 Subwoofer Box along with a complete speaker and stereo upgrade from front to back. Check out the photos. Sounds amazing.
How does it drive? Like a Jeep! Very reliable, never had any issues, always serviced and well taken care of. Never abused. You won’t be disappointed. It’s not a SHOW QUALITY YJ but it is a GREAT LOOKING AND RUNNING WEEKEND OR DAILY DRIVER WITH ONLY 101K MILES.
How about rust? It only has surface rust on the undercarriage, and on the step-sides. Nothing major, and certainly better than 99% of Jeep’s of this age. It has less rust than some newer cars on the road today. No concerns there. Body is excellent. See pics for details.
