The day has come that I finally list my Cherokee for sale. It has spent more time as a garage queen over the course of its life than anything else but due to recent changing circumstances in our family dynamics, it is no longer prudent to keep hanging on to it. Aside from being married with two children, the fact that I travel for work overseas many months out of the year makes ownership unrealistic as I never have the time to truly enjoy it.

There is much I could say about the Cherokee, but for the uninitiated, this is the Limited 4×4 trim level which means, for its model year, this was the ultimate configuration you could purchase at the time. It has many features on it that, in some cases, were only available as options for the trim including; Power Mirrors, Power Seats, Power Antenna, Leather Bucket Seats, Air Conditioning, Fog Lights, Body Colored Bumpers, Overhead Console/Barometer & Thermostat (currently valued from $600 to $1000 by itself), and Factory Tow Package (never used) to name a few.

I recently paid to have the paint corrected (polishing technique) by an accredited detailer who spent a great deal of time going over the vehicle in its entirety. Polishing the paint to make it appear like new again and deep cleaning the interior and conditioning the leather. It has never been subject to pet hair, smoking, hauling young children around or subjected to moisture or mold. It is my opinion that Cherokee’s are becoming increasingly rare to find in comparable condition and are, essentially, appreciating in value with time.

The maintenance has never been neglected. Additionally, it has recently undergone a thorough pre-sale inspection by a reputable mechanic who specializes in Jeeps. There were a couple of typical age related items that needed to be addressed which we have since remedied along with a few items that we decided to add to the repair order for good measure. None of the parts or servicing we had performed were done as a result of chronic or imminent failure. Just proactive.

I will do my best to list out some of the most recent servicing here:

– New Michelin Tires
– New Rear Main Seal
– New Valve Cover Gasket
– New Spark Plugs
– Coolant Flush/Refill
– New Thermostat
– New Motor Mounts
– New Heater Hoses
– New Differential Fluid/Gasket
– New Serpentine Belt
– Power Steering Fluid Flush/Refill

I am not desperate and this is not a distress sale.
Personally, I would like to see the Jeep go to a good home and be cared for. In all honesty, I’m not enthousiastic about selling this in the first place, but with it being the sensible thing to do and with my emotions set aside, I believe that my price is fair given the current availability of Jeeps like this as well as the condition that mine is in.

No rust. No accidents. Clean title in my name. No nonsense.

If you’re interested and would like to set a time to see it, you can call, text or email.
I don’t typically answer numbers I don’t recognize so if you get a voicemail, please leave a message with your name and the reason for your call. Additionally, please be sure that you’re in a position to complete a transaction as my work schedule makes my availability very limited. I say this because I would prefer not to give out multiple test drives unless you also have the means to make a purchase.

I will delete this posting when a sale has been finalized.

Thank you.
