1988 Jeep Wrangler with a GM 350ci V8 Conversion! Excellent opportunity to own a V8 Wrangler at an amazing value! All the hard work has been done here and this Jeep shows beautifully. Have you ever wanted to own a Wrangler on Steroids!? Well look no further… Wearing a nice matt Black paint with bold Wrangler graphics this Jeep certainly stands out from the crowd! It has all new wheels and new 33” tires. It also has all new fender flares, new front bumper and at the head mounted is a Quadratec winch. Inside you will find all new Corbeau seats front and rear! Overall this Jeep looks awesome inside and out and the photos show it well! The engine was swapped to a GM 350ci that starts right up and has plenty of power when needed. It also sounds great when doing it! The Jeep runs and drives like a lifted Jeep and overall a solid Wrangler to run around in or take to the trails. All 4 shocks were just replaced and considering its a lifted Wrangler it rolls down the road nicely. The automatic shifts like it should and drives good. This Jeep should make a great addition to any Jeep lovers collection or first time buyer. Underneath is very clean with no rust concerns. The frame was undercoated at one point in its life and looks to all be solid. This year had galvanized body’s so no real rust concerns to deal with like the newer TJ’s. Going forward if I was to personally keep this Jeep in my collection, I would make sure all the gauges are working as they should or add additional gauges for temp and oil pressure. Keep in mind it is a V8 engine swap and there is always something that can be improved or tinkered with. That said, this Wrangler is a very solid example of a good running and driving V8 Wrangler that you can jump in today and rip down the beach or trails or down to the local store. Would I drive it across country? No – to be fair not sure I would drive any Jeep across country for the sake of my body. Nor would I drive something 35 years old any measurable distance.
